Serving people and animals is my passion. I have spent the last year assisting my three children attend school virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic and spent five years prior to that serving as a foster/adoptive parent. I served as an active duty Marine for six years and served three years overseas working with multiple government agencies serving at U.S. embassies in Eastern Europe and East Africa. After the military, I earned a BA in Psychology at Lubbock Christian University while simultaneously interning and volunteering for Refuge Services, a facility dedicated to providing equine assisted therapies (physical, occupational and psychological). My education and occupational history have provided me unique opportunities to work with people of all ages from diverse cultural backgrounds as well with animals in a therapeutic setting.
